I am in love with branch decor. I want to make something really cute to hang my jewelry on, but that would involve free time, something I have none of right now. Speaking of which, gotta go...duty calls.

5 Years ago...
It's our anniversary tomorrow. Wow, three of the best years of my life!
Just kidding. Dave is the best husband ever. Are all of those flowers too much? I'm wondering if we overdid.
In other news, work is so busy. I am swamped with projects. And the halloween issue of Martha is wonderful. Fantastic photos of amazing pumpkins of all varieties, I'm definitely going to plant some of her varieties next year. The warty green ones are so great.

I really need to do some new paintings. I'd like to do a little show at the studio with some of my other crafty companions, but we'll see. So many ideas, so little energy.

The State Fair...I haven't been this proud to be a Utahn since Mitt Romney made a bid for the whitehouse
We had a great time Saturday looking at all the facets of Utah's people and their various forms of self expression. I loved seeing all the canned items. I need to get going on tomatoes! We ate corn dogs, drank lemonade, and did some quality people watching.

is it time yet?
I love costumes. They have to be generic though, nothing specific, like you can be an elephant, but don't be dumbo. Know what I mean? I really want o pick my pumpkin, but will try to wait a little longer.
I love this time of year, the weather is so beautiful.
