I am 29 (for the first time) today! I feel happy and full and oh so lucky.

nothing really

my ability to avoid work is getting better all the time. I just signed up for facebook. what a blast from the past. I don't comprehend all the features yet, but it's provided some amusement.

just fyi...my hair adventure is a bust. I was toying with getting some extensions, but it's not in the cards. sorry to disappoint, you'll have to be content with this new picture.

the suspense must be killing you

my hair efforts have fallen through (just temporarily, I hope).

Kitchen demolition is going very well. We (meaning dave) removed all of the cabinets on the north wall. Only a tiny bit of blood was spilled, but his tetanus shot is current, so I'm not too worried. 

I am in complete denial that it is the middle of November! The fact that we were running the air conditioner in the car today may be contributing. It's nearly 60 degrees. So warm that the snakes left the comfort of the porch crack and were out enjoying the sun. So much for my hopes that we had convinced them to move on.

So far, this is the only thing I've seen that has sparked much holiday spirit in my soul. I think it would be cute for the nephews. I got my mitts on the little one for most of the day saturday. We did a lot of napping. He is very cute.
